The RMF Athlete Journey

DEVO
For athletes 12 and under, DEVO is the perfect entry into freestyle skiing. Kids build fundamental skills in a safe, fun environment with 3–5 competitions each season. A great first step before moving up to RQS.

RQS
For skiers 11 and older, RQS bridges the gap between DEVO and COMP. With 3–6 events each season featuring two-jump, timed competitions, athletes gain realistic competition experience while preparing for higher levels.

COMP
For advanced athletes, COMP offers full US Ski & Snowboard sanctioned competitions in moguls and dual moguls. Skiers earn points and compete at the regional, national, and international level.
FIS
The FIS level is the highest stage of freestyle competition for RMF athletes, where elite athletes represent Rocky Mountain Freestyle on the international stage. These events are sanctioned by the International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) and serve as the pathway to World Cup and Olympic competition. Athletes at this level showcase the highest degree of skill, performance, and professionalism.
