🎿✨ The Inaugural RMF Invitational Event is ON!

The RMF Invitational is an “Invite-Only” event. Athletes must meet the eligibility criteria listed below.

The stage is set for an exciting new chapter in RMF competition! On Friday, January 9th, RMF athletes will go head-to-head in the all-new RMF Invitational Event — a one-day showcase where the top skiers from across Rocky Mountain Freestyle compete against each other for bragging rights and big moments. With the Dark Side course as the backdrop, expect lightning-fast turns, big air, and the high-energy atmosphere that defines RMF freestyle skiing.

NOTE: The RMF Invitational is a single moguls event only – duals are not included. Only athletes who are registered for NBS Moguls are eligible to compete in duals. Listed below is the RMF Invitational event criteria (this information will also be available on SkiReg when the registration window is open):

This event is open only to athletes who have designated Rocky Mountain as their home division with USSS for the current competition season

Entry Criteria:

  • All Rocky Mountain All-Star Team members and alternates.
  • Athletes with a minimum of 10 FIS points in moguls.
  • Any RMF athlete with a top ten (10) finish in a current or prior season RMF COMP Series single mogul competition.
  • Any RMF athlete with a top eight (8) finish in a current or prior season RMF COMP Series dual mogul competition.
  • If additional spots remain one week prior to the event, registration may open to Rocky athletes meeting minimum MNRL or FFSP requirements, as outlined in the event fact sheet.

Important Event Information

USSS Membership Required!

All participants must have a valid US Ski & Snowboard freestyle Athlete Membership to register and compete. All registrations will be done on SkiReg.com. There will be NO on-site registration. Entries will be final upon the closure of event registration. There will be NO substitutions for no-shows. All participants MUST complete BOTH waivers prior to Check-In.

Can’t make it to the mountain? No worries—we’ve got you covered! This season, RMF plans to Live Stream all Comp Series events so you can catch every turn, bump, and big air from wherever you are. On event day, just head over to our Live Stream page and join the action in real time. Whether you’re cheering for your favorite athlete or just love freestyle skiing, you won’t want to miss a minute! You can also access past live streams and other videos on our YouTube channel.

Live Scoring

For the live scoring, please remember that the event will not show up on the live scoring site until the first few scores are entered, which occurs after about the 10th run.

Event Fees

  • OPEN MOGULS event are $95 for the first event $85 for the second event $75 for each additional event.
  • DUAL MOGUL events are $130 for the first event, $85 for the second event, and $75 for each additional event.
  • RQS and DEVO events are $50 per event. Multi-event prices only apply if you register for multiple events at the same time.
  • RMF DIVISIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS are $120 for the first event, $100 for the second, and $80 for each additional event.

Event Caps

  • Jr. Moguls – 90 entries.
  • Open Moguls – 110 entries.
  • Champs/Senior Moguls – 150 entries.
  • Double Mogul event caps will vary: two one-run events will be capped at 90; a one-run event followed by a two-run event will be capped at 60.
  • There are no caps on any Dual Moguls or Divisional Championship Events.
  • RQS and Devo events are capped at 90 athletes.

Registration Deadline

Deadline for event registration is 5pm Mountain Standard Time the Tuesday before a competition unless the event reaches its registration cap prior to that time. Dual mogul registrations may be accepted until 3pm the day before the event but will not be accepted the morning of the event.

Results

The results posted on this website are unofficial. Official results, and associated Freestyle Points (FSP), are posted on the US Ski & Snowboard web site. Please report any discrepancies to Rocky Mountain Freestyle. The results on this site are intended to provide athletes with their raw turns, jumps and time scores. Degree of Difficulty (DD) factors for jumps are also provided. This information is not available on the US Ski & Snowboard web site. Go to RMF Results Archive.

Event Payments and Refunds Policy

  • Credit card payment is required for all registrations. Any competitor whose payment is declined will be considered “not in good standing” and will not receive awards or have scores posted to U.S. Ski & Snowboard until payment is resolved.
  • A cancellation fee, set by RMF, applies to each athlete for each separate event. This fee applies to all non-injury withdrawals made on or before the registration deadline.
  • Refunds will not be issued for non-injury withdrawals submitted after the registration deadline.
  • Refunds for injuries are not subject to the cancellation fee. Injury withdrawal requests must be emailed to info@rockymountainfreestyle.com before the first training day of the training. Documentation, such as a note from a licensed medical provider, may be required. Please note that refunds cannot be issued for any injury occurring during official event training day or the event itself.
  • Refunds will not be issued for injury requests submitted after the start of the first training day or for injuries sustained during training or competition.
  • Service fees are non-refundable.
  • No refunds will be issued if an athlete registers for an event in which they are ineligible to compete.

Delays / Cancellations / Force Majeure

Refunds are not provided if an event is canceled or delayed for reasons beyond RMF’s control unless RMF is provided with sufficient advance notice of cancellation. RMF is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including severe weather, avalanches, ski area operations, fire, flood, strikes, riots, or other unforeseen circumstances including delays caused by injuries to athletes on the course. Events canceled in advance by the RMF Executive Committee will be refunded.
