All registration will be done on Skireg.com. There will be NO on-site registration. Entries will be final upon the closure of event registration. There will be NO substitutions for no-shows. Only athletes with US Ski and Snowboard Freestyle Competitor licenses may register. All participants MUST complete BOTH waivers prior to Check-In. Coaches MUST email office@tssc.org  with their intent to attend by close of registration 2/16

Competition Headquarters
Telluride Ski & Snowboard Club Headquarters
Directions: Take your first right off the round-about on Mahoney Drive as you enter Telluride. Follow Mahoney Drive towards the mountain and take the third left (one way street, still Mahoney Drive). Take your first right, across the river into the Carhenge parking lot at the base of the mountain. TSSC headquarters is located at the base of lift 7 next door to the Telski ticket office. (Unit C 4)

Lodging
Telluride Alpine Lodging is offering discounted lodging. They have the best rates in town and manage numerous properties conveniently located to registration and competition access up Chair 7.

Lift Tickets
Competitor $85 and parent lift tickets are $100 and will be available at the Coonskin Ticket Office only, located at the base of chair 7. The window will be open from 8:00-2:00 daily. Coaches tickets will be available at TSSC Friday 2/23  8:00-11:00, All volunteers and coaches must sign waivers before tickets are issued. please have your current USSS license when picking up your lift tickets. 

  • Please check your Epic Pass to make sure it includes Telluride – not all Epic passes include Telluride Ski Resort. 

Course Site
Hermit Freestyle Mogul Venue

– Lift access to the Hermit Mogul Venue is via Lift 7, Lift 4 & the Gondola opening at 9:00a.

Important! – The Hermit ski run is located on the Chair 4 lift pod, which is a designated “Family Ski Zone”. Use extra caution and ski slow, really slow, to and from the Hermit mogul arena. Athletes will lose ticket without warning if skiing fast.

  • Uphill traffic and foot traffic is not allowed to this event.
  • Dogs are not allowed at this event.

All awards will take place in the finish area immediately following each competition.

Open Moguls/Dual Moguls – Invitational! (see RMF rules for details)

Athletes registering for Open Moguls must have 2 previous RMF MO starts and athletes registering for Dual Moguls must have 1 previous RMF DM start by February 13.  Those not fulfilling the invite requirements may forfeit their entry fees.

NO RQS ATHLETES ALLOWED FOR THIS EVENT!

Entry to this event includes dinner at the Divisionals banquet.  Details will be posted SPECIAL EVENT INFORMATION.

Course – The Dark Side

Champ/Sr. Moguls, Junior Moguls, and Dual Moguls:

Champ/Sr. Moguls – Champ/Sr. Mogul events are restricted to junior athletes (18 and under) with at least 550 Points on last season’s final Mogul FSP List and all senior athletes (19 and older) regardless of points. RQS athletes may not move up to a Champ Moguls event. There is a registration cap of 150 athletes. There is a performance cut to the top 20 competitors per gender for run 2 unless a deeper cut is required due to adverse course conditions. Please refer to the list of qualified Champs athletes to make sure your name is on the list prior to registering. If you feel you should be allowed to compete in the Champs event due to injury or other extenuating circumstance, please submit a petition to the RMF Competition Committee at info [at] rockymountainfreestyle.com. Junior Moguls – Juniors Mogul events are open to all junior competitors, age 18 (U19) and under as of December 31 of the competition season) holding a US Ski & Snowboard Freestyle Competitor membership. Field size is limited to the first 90 entrants. All athletes will receive two runs unless there are adverse course conditions. RQS Move-ups are okay as long as they are 18 and under.

Dual Moguls – Our usual format. RQS Move-ups are okay.
