Job Description:
The event production team is responsible for hosting Rocky Mountain Freestyle and USSA youth ski events in Colorado. The job requires being on-site from training day through the end of the event, most events run 3-4 days. There will be eight events in the 2018 season. Prior to training day (typically Thursday) you must drive the team truck and trailer to that weekends resort. That night you will coordinate with the snow-cat driver to haul the trailer to the event site. On training day (Friday) you will set up the event. Set up includes the judges stand, scoring tents, heaters, assisting in course maintenance, and setting up the sound system. On events days (Saturday – Sunday) you will be in charge of the music, course power, and assisting the judges. After the last day of the event (typically Sunday), you must pack up the trailer and get it off the hill.
Job requirements:
- Must have advanced on hill ski ability (ability to ski safely with 60+ lb packs)
- Clean driving record and ability to navigate a trailer rig across mountain passes
- Sound system experience
- Some knowledge of small engines (generator)
- 100% Travel
